Forbes Opens Fifth Ave. Entertainment Space

Forbes Media has opened Forbes on Fifth – a new entertainment space located at 24 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. The 7,500 square foot space will be used by Forbes for high end entertaining and hosting curated events.

Forbes on Fifth consists of three primary entertaining areas – the main hall, a private dining room for up to 10 guests and a conference room for meetings. The main hall, which can comfortably entertain 150 people, includes a ballroom area designed for large cocktail parties or business dinners, panel forums, meetings or film screenings; a big industrial kitchen; a 23-foot long full-service bar; and a large media wall.

Forbes plans to host a range of events at Forbes on Fifth from business meetings to networking and social events.  Most events will be in partnership with brands that do business and advertise with Forbes.

“We look forward to using the space as a very unique asset for entertainment and the opportunities and partnerships that will be fueled by the events that we will host here,” said Mike Perlis, President and CEO of Forbes Media.  “Our commitment to creating this versatile and powerful venue has been and will continue to be in support of the engines that drive our business – namely, strategic editorial meetings around content creation and strategic marketing and advertising activities with current or potential partners. This kind of commitment to quality and brand definition is an extraordinary investment in today’s media space.”

The architect, designer and decorator of Forbes on Fifth was Loffredo Brooks Architects, which also worked in conjunction with Ralph Lauren for the selection of key pieces of furniture.
