NEW YORK –– NTVB Media has announced plans to redesign TV Guide Magazine and introduced a new leadership team to lead growth of the publication. The first revamped issue of the magazine will hit newsstands in June.
The redesign will help subscribers to more easily find favorite shows and decide how to access programming. It will deliver enhanced listings; address the surge in available programming; help readers with the variety of ways to stream, download and access content on-demand; and offer new ways for subscribers to interact with and enjoy television. TV Guide Magazine will maintain the independent editorial leadership that readers trust to provide in-depth and behind-the-scenes coverage of television.
NTVB Media, owner of TV Weekly and leading cable and satellite publications, acquired TVGM Holdings L.L.C., owner of TV Guide Magazine and TVInsider.com, from OpenGate Capital in October 2015.
NTVB Media also announced senior leadership changes to deliver the redesign and drive profitable growth of TV Guide Magazine.
Paul J. Turcotte has been named president and publisher of TV Guide Magazine reporting to NTVB Media President and CEO, Andy DeAngelis. Turcotte sold his company, AMPitLive, to NTVB in October and joined the company then as Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of TV Guide Magazine.
Nerina Rammairone has been promoted to Editorial Director and will oversee all editorial content for TV Guide Magazine and its companion website, TVInsider.com. She was Executive Editor and has been with the magazine since 1995.
Rich Sands assumes the new role of Senior Executive Editor. Amy Miller has been promoted to Deputy Editor. Sands and Miller have been with TV Guide Magazinesince 1995 and 2008, respectively.
“Our new leadership team has the vision and experience to lead TV Guide Magazine through this new era in the television industry,” said Andy DeAngelis. “The redesigned magazine will offer people the guidance and entertainment they seek through a streamlined and cohesive design. I’m really excited about the benefits it will provide to subscribers and advertisers.”
