GARDEN CITY, NY — Schweiger Dermatology Group has completed the acquisition of Frank Demento, M.D.’s Long Island dermatology practice at 520 Franklin Avenue in Garden City, N.Y. This is the latest acquisition of a venerable New York dermatology practice for Schweiger Dermatology Group, a company that features modern, state-of-the-art offices, same day appointments, and extended hours along with top notch patient care and cutting edge treatments.
Dr. Frank Demento is a renowned Long Island dermatologist with many decades of experience treating patients. He is a leading expert on many different aspects of dermatology, including aging of the skin, sun protection, acne and cutaneous signs of internal disease. Dr. Demento is the Chief of Dermatology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola and an attending dermatologist at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City as well as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the State University at Stony Brook.
