NEW ROCHELLE, NY — uBreakiFix opened a new repair shop in New Rochelle this week at 1299 North Avenue. This is the eighth location in New York and the fourth location in the Westchester County area, joining locations in Mount Kisco, Scarsdale andMamaroneck.
The growing technology repair company specializes in same-day repair service of small electronics, repairing cracked screens, water damage, software issues, camera issues and most other technical problems at its more than 210 stores across North America.
The New Rochelle location is owned and operated by Seth Berkman, who also owns the other Westchester County locations. Berkman has been a uBreakiFix owner for more than two years and is proud of the resource the brand has become in the community.
uBreakiFix New Rochelle is located in a busy area across from Starbucks and CVS, in the Quaker Ridge Shopping Center. The area has a daytime population of more than 174,000 people.
“I hope the New Rochelle community will look to uBreakiFix for all of their technology repair needs,” Berkman said. “With our expansion to the new location, we will be able to serve a greater amount of people in the Westchester County area. It has been great to see the company grow and provide a quick and easy tech repair experience for our customers.”
The increasing cost of devices has made technology replacement difficult and expensive, which motivated savvy millennial duo, Justin Wetherill and David Reiff, to provide another option. uBreakiFix was founded in 2009, and the pair later partnered with Eddie Trujillo to offer a brick and mortar tech repair option that was quick, affordable and most importantly, provided a quality customer experience.
“We want to build trust with our customers by taking the traumatic experience of damaged devices and making the repair process simple,” said uBreakiFix founder, Justin Wetherill. “As we expand into New Rochelle, we want the community to know there are options beyond replacement, and uBreakiFix is here to provide them with a trusted alternative.”
uBreakiFix offers repair services for all brands of smartphones, tablets, computers and game consoles. The brand’s ability to fix anything with a power button sets it apart from the competition. Each repair comes with a 90-day warranty.
uBreakiFix has opened 52 stores in 2016 and expects to have 275 stores across North America by the end of the year.
