Denino’s, a historic pizzeria restaurant in Staten Island, has opened its first restaurant and tavern this week in Greenwich Village at 93 MacDougal Street.
Denino’s first opened in Staten Island in 1937 at 524 Richmond Ave. It also has two locations in New Jersey.
The restaurant is best known for making pizzas including Clam Pie with fresh clams, the M.O.R. pie with meatballs, onions and ricotta cheese and the Margarita Pie with basil, mozzarella and marinara sauce.
Denino’s also serves sandwiches, pasta dishes and salads. The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m to 11:30 p.m.
