A former booker for Fox News has accused ex-CEO Roger Ailes of systematically harassing her for over 20 years when she worked at the network reports Gabriel Sherman in New York Magazine.
Laurie Luhn started working for Roger Ailes when she was 28 years old and Ailes was overseeing the Presidential campaign for George W. Bush. She was low on money and job prospects and Ailes gave her work at his then communications firm. Eventually, the relationship turned sexual and he took photos and videos of her and also with other women.
Luhn left Fox News in 2011 and received a $3.1 million severance after sending a letter to a Fox lawyer accusing Ailes of harassment. She still suffers from mental illness and bouts of paranoia and anxiety.
She came forward with her story after former Fox anchor Gretchen Carlson files a lawsuit against Ailes for sexual harassment earlier this month.
Ailes resigned last week following an international investigation by 21st Century Fox. Rupert Murdoch is now interim CEO of Fox News.
