Target is opening its first store in lower Manhattan in the Tribeca neighborhood this week just a couple of blocks from the Oculus in World Trade Center.
This will be the first Target in the densely populated area near Battery Park. There are Target stores in Harlem and three in Brooklyn.
Located at 255 Greenwich Street, on the corner of Greenwich and Murray Streets, the new store will have 45,000 square feet of space on two levels.
Merchandise at the store will include men’s, women, kids and baby apparel, accessories and shoes, home, beauty and baby items, and food (with a grab-and-go section that features sandwiches, salads, beverages, snacks and more).
Service available include a pharmacy and mobile order pick-up.
