NEW YORK – Chopt, a chain of fast casual salad restaurants, has signed a long-term lease at the Empire State Building.
Chopt has over a dozen locations in Manhattan and specializes in freshly-made salads where the ingredients are chopped right in front of you when ordering. The company has a total of 38 locations in NY, CT, VA, MD, DC and NC.
“Chopt will be located on the 33rd Street portion of the property, featuring food and services dedicated to our “Urban Campus Within a Building” for our tenants at the Empire State Building, and also the neighborhood,” said Thomas Durels, Executive Vice President and Director of Leasing and Operations for Empire State Realty Trust, which opens the Empire State Building. “We now have seven in-building dining options to serve our tenants.”
