NEW YORK — Accounting firm Grassi & Co. has acquired Westchester-based accounting firm Bernstein & Seidman.
Over the past 30 years Bernstein & Seidman has served over 250 clients in various industries including retail sales, import/export, food, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and, most notably, the automotive industry.

Grassi & Co. was founded in 1980 by CEO and Managing Partner, Louis C. Grassi.

Bernstein and his staff currently have offices in Westchester County and are slated to move in May to White Plains, NY.

This is the second acquisition announced in the past week for Grassi & Co. Earlier in the week, Grassi said it would merge with James Bohl CPA of Long Island, adding 25 accountants to its staff.
