Burgrito’s Launches New Restaurant in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN — Burgrito’s, which combines burgers and burritos into one handheld meal, has opened a new restaurant at 173 4th Avenue in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. The new eatery offers fresh and creative choices for meat lovers and vegetarians alike, appealing to the eclectic tastes of Brooklynites. This is the second location for Burgrito’s with the original located in Bethpage, NY.

Lawrence Laby, who co-owns the restaurant with his brother Darin, says, “We look forward to building on the great success of our Long Island Burgrito’s with this new site in a vibrant neighborhood. We will continue to provide top quality, delicious food in satisfying portions.”

The signature item on the menu is the Burgrito, which consists of a juicy burger with American cheese, bacon, french fries, chipotle sauce, lettuce, tomato and onions wrapped in a flour tortilla. It’s also available as Veg-rito with a veggie burger and vegan chipotle sauce. In addition to its popular Burgrito, offerings include standard burgers and burritos, a host of salads, and various Mexican specialties. Customers also can choose from one of Burgrito’s specialty burgers and a selection of quesadillas, nachos or burrito bowls.

All entrees cost under $10, making a trip to Burgrito’s a relatively inexpensive indulgence. The family-friendly atmosphere includes a kid’s menu with a complete meal and side dish for $5.99. Customers can top off the evening with a delectable apple cinnamon or sweet banana burrito.

Co-owner Darin Laby concludes, “We feel that this casual and creative new restaurant will fit right in with Park Slope and look forward to forging lasting relationships with the neighborhood, as we already have in Bethpage,” concludes Laby.
