CNBC anchor and reporter Kayla Tausche is leaving NY for Washington DC.
According to a memo posted by Talking Biz News, Tausche will move to CNBC’s Washington DC bureau and be a correspondent for the business network effective February 6.
The memo from CNBC Editor-in-Chief Nik Deogun said, “Her reporting will focus on the intersection of government and business – from revamped regulations to trade deals – so that investors can be armed with better insight and information.”
Tausche has been co-anchor of CNBC’s Squawk Alley show in the mornings and a correspondent from the network’s Englewood Cliffs, NJ headquarters. She first joined the network in 2011.
Tausche has a degree in journalism and politics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
