NEW YORK — Munchery, a provider of meal preparation and delivery services, has introduced its new lunch service this week in the Midtown East area of Manhattan.
In the coming weeks, Munchery lunch will be available in Midtown West, Flatiron, Chelsea, Financial District, West Village and Soho.
Munchery expanded to New York City in March of 2015 with a goal of helping New Yorkers reclaim dinnertime. This is the first time Munchery is offering lunch in NYC.
Munchery recipes are created by its team of award-winning chefs with delivery in mind from the start, so each meal arrives fresh and ready to enjoy.
“Our New York City customers asked for Munchery lunch, and we’re delivering on their request,” says Mike Blank, Munchery’s East Coast General Manager. “Our new lunch service fills a major need among professionals living the ‘New York minute.’ Now, the hard-working folks in Manhattan can enjoy Munchery’s chef-crafted, delicious meals in the middle of their busy workdays.”
Customers can schedule their Munchery lunches ahead of time and choose from two delivery windows: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. via munchery.com or Munchery’s iOS app. Same-day orders can be placed up until 10 a.m.
Munchery’s lunch menu features vibrant, healthy dishes including: salads, grain bowls, sushi and more. A select group of customer taste-testers helped to determine the inaugural lunch menu, which currently offers Greek Chicken & Veggie Bowl; Farro, Black Rice & Kale; as well as a lunch version of the signature Pan-Seared Salmon Rice Bowl.
As part of its lunch opening week, Munchery will unveil a selection of lunch dishes at a special tasting event on April 6, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Bloomingdale’s flagship store on 59th Street in Manhattan. Tasting samples will be available to the public in Bloomingdale’s brand new housewares department on the 8th floor.
Munchery was founded in 2011 and headquartered in San Francisco.
