NEW YORK — Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced that Wynn Resorts (Nasdaq:WYNN), will become a component of the NASDAQ-100 Index (Nasdaq:NDX) and the NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index (Nasdaq:NDXE) prior to market open on Monday, April 24, 2017.
Wynn Resorts will replace TripAdvisor(Nasdaq:TRIP) in the indexes.
Wynn Resorts is headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, and has a market capitalization of approximately $11.7 billion.
The company owns and operates the luxurious Wynn and Encore casino resorts in Las Vegas and the Wynn and Wynn Palace hotel casinos in Macau.
The Nasdaq-100 Index includes 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial companies listed on The Nasdaq Stock Market based on market capitalization. The Index reflects companies across major industry groups including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology. It does not contain securities of financial companies including investment companies.
