Zaro’s Family Bakery has opened its ninth location in the NYC area in the Parkchester neighborhood of the Bronx.
NYC commuters will be familiar with Zaro’s from its locations in Grand Central Terminal and Penn Station.
The new Parkchester space is 768 square feet and has 8 employees, 3 of which have been with the family chain for 20 + years.
Popular items Zaro’s sells include: Apple Turnovers, Cheese Danishes, Coffee Rings, Black and White cookies.
The new store will mark the bakery’s official return to the neighborhood following the 2015 closure of its original location on Hugh Grant Circle where it had been situated since June, 1959.
