NEW YORK – The Aliz Hotel Times Square has opened it doors this month debuting as one of the tallest hotels in NYC. Developed by Aliz Group and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, the new property is located at 310 West 40th Street near Times Square.
Aliz introduces a unique New York experience and innovative design drawn from the diverse energy of the city in their 287 guest rooms featuring luxury amenities, a farm-to-table restaurant and the highest two-story open-air bar and lounge in the city opening this December– all within walking distance to Times Square, Hudson Yards and the Jacob Javits Center.
“We are thrilled to formally introduce Aliz to the New York City skyline and look forward to sharing our take on hospitality with our guests,” said Michael George, chief executive officer of Crescent Hotels & Resorts. “The hotel’s unparalleled luxury amenities, candid approach to guest service and personalized touches are turning transactional hospitality into something authentic and thoughtful.”
Yves Jadot and Alberto Benenati, the acclaimed restaurateurs behind beloved New York City bars and restaurants Dear Irving, The Raines Law Room, XYST, Petite Abeille, Jones Wood Foundry and The Shakespeare, have signed on to manage Aliz’s food and beverage program. It includes a swanky craft cocktail destination on the hotel’s 40th and 41st floors with a beverage program by star mixologist Meaghan Dorman and breathtaking, unobstructed views of Manhattan from the Freedom Tower to the George Washington Bridge. In addition, the duo will be opening a ground-floor, farm-to-table inspired restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as providing restaurant delivery service for the hotel’s guests.
Designed by Andres Escobar & Associates, Aliz is a sanctuary tucked between some of the most iconic intersections in New York City. From street level to skyline, Aliz Hotel offers an inviting pied a terre for work and play. Special amenities include Beekman 1802’s natural bath products that will complement the elegant guestrooms and an Aliz Cycling Studio featuring Peloton. Guests can expect a sophisticated, contemporary feel with a modern twist when staying at Aliz. This unique design with soft romantic fabrics and bold leather textures creates a striking space that is both elegant and welcoming.
The hotel’s lobby will feature a vintage style chandelier accompanied by floating LED lights that showcase the space’s 19-feet high ceilings. The single and double occupancy guest rooms will greet guests with delicate fabrics, bold chrome, and black leather features, complete with classic white marble bathrooms to showcase a sophisticated European couture styled space.
Aliz Hotel Times Square features curated experiences tailored to the lifestyle of each guest. Additional guest amenities include pet-friendly accommodations, Aliz Ambassador service, business center, ATM on property, valet parking, dry cleaning, high-speed internet, and in-room Keurig coffee makers.
