NEW YORK — Investment banking firm Goldman Sachs has named 60 employees to become partners effective January 1, 2021. Partners at Goldman Sachs are among the prestigious positions on Wall Street and come with a big boost in pay.
The Partner Class of 2020 have more than 850 years of combined experience at Goldman Sachs, and bring deep and broad expertise to their new roles. Of the 60 new partners, 16 are women, 10 are Asian and 7 are Black.
The average tenure for new partners at Goldman Sachs is 14 years and 53% started out as campus hires with the company. 45% have earned advanced degrees.
