Southwest, the nation’s leading discount airline, is launching service to Syracuse in Upstate New York beginning on November 14, 2021.
Southwest continues to grow across North America with service to its sixth destination in New York. The airline also serves Albany, Buffalo, LaGuardia (NYC), Rochester and Islip (Long Island).
Southwest will initially offer up to three daily flights each way between Syracuse and Baltimore/Washington (BWI), allowing travelers to reach more than 50 destinations across the Southwest network on same-plane or connecting service. Syracuse flights are available for purchase now on the airline’s website.

Southwest serves 101 destinations and will add service to 18 U.S. cities this year. It also has flights to 10 additional countries.
The airlines will also begin service from LaGuardia in NYC to Sarasota, FL on November 7, 2021. Flights will only be from Sundays to Fridays.
Southwest is the only major U.S. airline to offer the first two bags of luggage free and no change fees.
