New York Auto Show Opens Today

The New York Auto Show opens today at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan for the next 10 days from April 15 until April 24. This is the first show since 2019 due to pandemic restrictions.

The Javits Center will also show off the new $1.5 billion expansion and renovations that were completed in May 2021.

Electric vehicles will be a big feature of the auto show and take up two-thirds of the lower level. An indoor EV Test Track features seven new EV models driven by professional drivers. Show attendees will have the opportunity to take a ride in a range of EVs from Chevrolet, Kia, Nissan, Volkswagen, Volvo, INDI EV and VinFast.

In addition to the multi-brand EV Test Track, Ford and Hyundai will each feature indoor EV tracks as part of their main Level 3 Auto Show exhibits.

“Today, we see a future that is electric and the New York Auto Show is once again at the leading edge of the process by which potential car buyers come to understand, desire, and ultimately purchase, the incredible products that the automobile industry has to offer,” said Mark Schienberg, New York Auto Show President.

Visitors will also see hundreds of new 2022 and 2023 models from major auto brands.

Adult admission is $17 and kids 3-12 are $7 each. Under 2 is free.

Show hours are Monday-Saturday: 10am-10pm | Sunday: 10am-7pm
