NEW YORK — Knock is raising $12 million in a Series A round led by David Sacks from Craft Ventures. He is the Founder of Yammer, former COO of PayPal, an investor in Slack, Opendoor, and SpaceX, and also good friends with Gwyneth Paltrow.
Knock has developed a flexible, reliable notifications infrastructure for developers that’s built to scale with companies. Knocks offers APIs to engage users, power cross-channel workflows, and manage notification preferences.
The company has now raised over $18 million to date. Existing investors participating in this round include lead seed investor Afore Capital, as well as Expa Ventures, Exponent Capital, Preface Ventures, Tokyo Black, and WorkLife Capital. They’re joined by operators such as Adam Gross (CEO Vimeo), Guillermo Rauch (CEO Vercel), John Kodumal (CTO LaunchDarkly), Michael Grinich (CEO WorkOS), Scott Belsky (CPO Adobe), and Thomas Paul Mann (CEO Raycast).
