Feather Lands $30 Million Series B Funding

NEW YORK – Feather, a NY-based furniture rental service, has closed a $30 million Series B funding according to FINSMES.

The round was led by Cobalt Capital with participation from Spark Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Bain Capital Ventures, Y Combinator, SV Angel, PJC, Fuel Capital, and Wildcat Capital Management. Feather has now raised $46 million to date.

Feather currently offers furniture rentals in NY, San Franciso, Los Angeles and Orange County. It was founded by Jay Reno in 2017.

Feather offers annual memberships priced at $19 per month which gives users free delivery and assembly and discounted furniture payments. Non members will pay $99 for delivery and assembly plus higher monthly fees on furniture.

Feather offers furniture for the entire house from beds and chairs to lamps and even kids’ furniture.

The company plans to use the new investment to scale its proprietary reverse logistics infrastructure, expand into new markets, and hire new talent.
