Fire Hydrant Lands $8 Million Series A

NEW YORK — Fire Hydrant announced an $8 million Series A funding round from Menlo Ventures and Work-Bench to simplify the management of complex systems for businesses everywhere from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Fire Hydrant plans to use the new funding to hire talent, build exciting new features, and upgrade its existing product to enable teams with complex systems to operate more efficiently.

Fire Hydrant says it is now fully remote due to the coronavirus with most staff located in New York and San Diego.

The company originally started as a video series on how to build an application using Ruby on Rails software.
