Online sportsbook BetMGM went live on Monday, becoming the fifth online sportsbook now taking bets in NY state.

Following the legalization of online sports betting in the state on January 8, 2022, BetMGM has now made the Empire State the 19th US market where its gaming products are available.

The other four online sportsbooks now active in the state are FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook and BetRivers.

The BetMGM mobile app is available for download on iOS and Android for all those eligible in New York.

Founded in 2018, BetMGM has headquarters in Jersey City, NJ and is a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc.

All eligible bettors can place wagers with BetMGM in New York just in time for the NFL Divisional Round, the Australian Open, the 2022 Winter Olympics and more.
