10 People Shot at Brooklyn Subway Station

A total of 10 people were shot this morning at the 36th Street and Fourth Avenue Subway Station in Brooklyn this morning. At least 29 people were injured. The attack reportedly happened on a Manhattan-bound N train.

The NY Police Department says there are no explosive devices and the suspect is still on the loose.

NY Mayor Eric Adams released a statement today: “Let me say we’re praying for all New Yorkers who were injured or affected by today’s attack. So far, we know that we have a multiple number of injuries, including victims of gunshot wounds.I wish to thank all of the first responders who responded to the scene or at the local hospitals, helping with today’s incident. You are what make New York the greatest city in the world, and I thank you for supporting your fellow New Yorkers.”

The Mayor was diagnosed with Covid-19 this week and has been isolating.
