The New York State Thruway Authority has reopened to the public the new Schuyler Service Area (I-90 westbound mile marker 227) in Frankfort, NY. The location is the 12th new service area to open to Thruway customers as part of the $450 million project to redevelop and modernize all 27 Thruway service areas. The Seneca, Pembroke, New Baltimore, Clarence, Ardsley, Plattekill, Clifton Springs, Iroquois, Indian Castle, Chittenango and Junius Ponds Service Areas have reopened.

The Schuyler Service Area is located on I-90 westbound between exit 30 (Herkimer-Mohawk-NY Route 28) and exit 31 (Utica-I-790-NY Routes 8 & 12).
