NEW YORK — FOX News Channel (FNC) will present a live town hall with former President Donald Trump in Des Moines, IA on January 10th from 9-10 PM/ET. Co-moderated by Special Report chief political anchor Bret Baier and The Story’s executive editor and anchor Martha MacCallum, the town hall will focus on the leading issues facing voters ahead of the Iowa Caucus. Hannity, which usually airs in the 9-10 PM/ET time slot, will be preempted that evening.
The town hall marks the first time the former president will sit with Baier and MacCallum jointly since May 2020. In June 2023, Baier received praise on both sides of the aisle for his interview with former President Trump. Most recently, Baier and MacCallum moderated the first Republican presidential primary debate in Milwaukee which delivered 13 million viewers and has been the most-watched debate of the 2024 cycle.
The former President didn’t participate in any of the Republican debates last year and is leading in the polls as the party frontrunner. He does face several trials this year that could be delayed and the Presidential election is this fall.
