DJI Opens Drone and Camera Store on Fifth Avenue in NYC

DJI, a Chinese manufacturer of drones and creative camera technology, has unveiled its first concept store in the United States on New York City’s Fifth Avenue. As the company’s first concept store in North America, the space welcomes creators, photographers, and storytellers in the New York metro area and beyond to discover and shop DJI’s innovative lineup of camera drones, handheld imaging devices, action cameras, and related accessories.

The New York City concept store is located at 685 Fifth Avenue (between E 54th Street and E 53rd Street). The store hours are 10 am to 8 pm on Tuesdays through Sundays and 11 am to 7 pm on Mondays.

“From professional filmmakers and photographers to enthusiasts, DJI’s innovative camera drones and handheld products have become industry standards. We continue to see growing consumer demand throughout North America as we expand our consumer product portfolio,” said Christina Zhang, Senior Director of Corporate Strategy at DJI. “With the opening of our Fifth Avenue concept store, we’re creating a space for our customers to learn, discover and shop.”

The concept store deploys a futuristic design for both the storefront and interior that reflects DJI’s mission to be the future of possible. With aluminum composite and white oak wood finishes, this ultramodern minimalist space is designed to be a blank canvas to inspire creativity. On display and for sale will be the most extensive selection of DJI’s consumer drones, including the latest Mavic, Air, Mini, Avata, Inspire, and FVP (First Person View) drone series, as well as the professional and consumer handheld products, including Ronin, Osmo Pocket, Osmo Action, and Mic series.

Customers can expect best-in-class after-sales support. The store provides a convenient drop-off and pick-up service for hardware repairs with a fast 48-hour turnaround time. The store also offers a generous 60-day no-questions-asked return policy for all purchases.
