Macy’s Announces New Store Closings

Macy’s, the nation’s largest department store chain, announced the closing of six new Macy’s department stores and one Bloomingdale’s Outlet Store.

At the end of the third quarter 2021, Macy’s said it had 794 stores, including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury.

Below is the list of stores that the company will close this year.

2. Streets at SouthGlenn CO
3. San Jacinto (including Furniture Clearance Center) TX
4. Twenty Ninth Street CO
5. Lee’s Summit MO
6. Brookwood Village AL

Macy’s Store – Previously Announced 2021 Mid-year Closures and Closed
in 2021 
7. South Towne Center (closed in Q2 2021) UT

Bloomingdale’s Outlet Store – Newly Announced 2021 Year End Closure 
8. Miromar Outlet (closing in Q4 2021) FL
