Hilton Grand Vacations Opens Flagship NY Resort

Hilton Grand Vacations Inc.,  a publicly-traded timeshare company,  has officially held the grand opening of its flagship New York City property, The Quin, a Hilton Club, following a $50 million renovation.

With its location on “Billionaire’s Row,” at the corner of Sixth Avenue and 57th Street, The Quin features 212 spacious suites, thoughtfully designed amenities and sweeping views of Central Park.

“As the first major brand to open a timeshare property in Manhattan nearly two decades ago, HGV has continued to redefine vacation ownership in the world’s most sought-after city,” said Mark Wang, president and CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations. “We are thrilled to debut this extraordinary new property as the city celebrates the return to tourism. The Quin’s transformation, combined with our anticipated grand opening celebration for The Central at 5th, a Hilton Club, also in midtown, demonstrates our commitment to New York.”

The grand opening comes as HGV is seeing industry-leading occupancy rates across its New York City portfolio and officials anticipate more than 56 million tourists will visit the city this year.

HGV was formerly a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels before it was spun off as an independent company in 2017.

Following the $50 million, top to bottom renovation, the luxury resort features 212 studios and one- and two-bedroom spacious suites, a private owners’ lounge, fitness center and restaurant.  In addition, the newly expanded 18th and 19th floors include dramatic penthouse suites with outdoor terraces overlooking Central Park. Located steps from Carnegie Hall, the resort highlights New York’s vibrant culture with interactive artist salons and a 15-foot video wall.

HGV pioneered the urban timeshare concept in New York and now boasts one of the most extensive portfolios in the city. The company recently announced a new experiential events platform and membership offering. More than 4,000 events are planned for this year at HGV properties worldwide as part of the HGV Ultimate Access program. Events will include exclusive concerts with top artists including Lee Brice, Carly Pearce, Joey Fatone and Boyz II Men as well as chef dinners, meet-and-greets with celebrities and more.

HGV’s acquisition of Diamond Resorts in 2021 created the largest upper upscale and luxury timeshare operator with the broadest variety of global destinations in the vacation ownership industry. As the summer tourism season commences, HGV is elevating Diamond’s leisure resorts across the country under a new Hilton Vacation Club brand. The first group of properties to rebrand are in popular vacation destinations, including: Orlando, Scottsdale, Williamsburg and Sedona.
