Rivkin Radler Elevates Seven New Partners

Long Island law firm Rivkin Radler LLP has announced seven new partners for 2024. The firm has six offices and 235 lawyers.

These are the new partners promoted by the firm:

Ashley Algazi, of Greenlawn, NY, is a member of the Health Services Practice Group. She represents various healthcare providers, including hospitals, long term care providers, physician practices, dental practices, ambulatory surgery centers, and other healthcare entities with transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters. She works in the firm’s Uniondale, NY, office.

Yonatan Bernstein, of Lawrence, NY, is a member of the Compliance, Investigation & White Collar, and Insurance Fraud Practice Groups. He helps insurers prosecute civil lawsuits under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and state law, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, attorneys, public adjusters and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes. He works in the firm’s Uniondale, NY, office.

Brian Feld, of Port Washington, NY, is a member of the Complex Tort, Product Liability, Medical Malpractice and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. He defends clients in product liability, toxic tort, medical malpractice, complex premises liability, construction accident and New York Labor Law actions. He has experience defending manufacturers of products in complex cases involving medical devices, dental appliances, pharmaceuticals, heavy machinery and consumer products. He also has represented clients in a wide array of disputes involving commercial transactions, breaches of contract, business torts, fraud and deceptive and unfair trade practices. He works in the firm’s Uniondale, NY, office.

Sean Gorton, of Long Island City, NY, is a member of the Insurance Fraud Practice Group. He helps insurers prosecute civil lawsuits under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, including affirmative actions to recover insurer claim payments to physicians, medical clinics, medical suppliers, and others involved in complex, large-scale insurance fraud schemes. Sean also has substantial experience with virtually all aspects of federal litigation, including conducting fact investigations, drafting pleadings and motions, pursuing discovery, engaging in settlement negotiations, taking depositions, and arguing in court. He works in the firm’s Uniondale, NY, office.

Lawrence Han, of Great Neck, NY, is a member of the Professional Liability and Complex Torts & Product Liability Practice Groups. He has successfully represented professionals against claims involving malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and mismanagement. In addition to representing professionals, Lawrence has substantial experience in title insurance litigation, involving various challenges to real estate title arising from claims for adverse possession, boundary disputes, chain of title issues, quite title actions, easements, etc. He also represents manufacturers and distributors in product liability and mass tort litigation in domestic and international forums, defending against claims for personal injury and property damage allegedly arising out of the use of and exposure to various products, including herbicides and pesticides. He works in the firm’s Uniondale, NY, office.

Drew Krieger, of Jacksonville, FL, practices in the areas of insurance defense and commercial litigation involving complex insurance matters, appeals, class actions, defense of personal injury protection (PIP) claims and other matters involving complex insurance litigation with a focus on serving national insurers in connection with auto insurance and other insurance issues. Drew provides essential and pragmatic counsel to his clients, especially regarding claims in the context of class actions, appeals and complex business litigations. He works in the firm’s recently opened and second largest location, in Jacksonville, FL.

Chloe Orta, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FLhas a commercial litigation practice involving insurance matters at the trial and appellate level. Orta is a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor. She works in the firm’s recently opened and second largest location, in Jacksonville, FL.
