Quay Tower in Brooklyn Reports $85 Million in Sales

NEW YORK — RAL Companies and Oliver’s Realty Group, announced that Quay Tower, the only waterfront new development in Brooklyn Heights with sponsor units for sale, achieved more than $85 million in sales and pending contracts from 2023. Many of the deals at the 30-story ODA New York-designed building were the week’s most expensive sale in Brooklyn when they closed. Two notable deals in 2023 were penthouses asking $9.85 million and $10 million. Quay Tower is home to a record-breaking $20.3 million Penthouse and continues to break price records in the borough. Known as “America’s original suburb,” Brooklyn Heights is sought-after for its tree-lined cobblestone streets, robust lifestyle amenities, top schools, green space and proximity to Manhattan. Located at 50 Bridge Park Drive, Quay Tower is directly on the 85-acre Brooklyn Bridge Park and Pier 6, just steps from the high-speed ferry.

“During a year of a stagnation in the market, Quay Tower continued to consistently outperform and also experienced quite the holiday season uptick,” says Jennifer Alese, Director of SERHANT. New Development which leads marketing and sales at the building. “Quay Tower is the most desirable building in Brooklyn given its exceptional design and finishes, esteemed development team, and the scarcity of waterfront new development. We anticipate strong sales activity in 2024 and limited availability remains for brand new high-floor homes.”

Privacy is paramount at Quay Tower and most high-floor residences share elevator entries with only two other homes. Select west-facing residences also feature the added privacy of direct elevator entries and the utility of additional suburban-style mudrooms and service entrances. California-based modernist AD100 firm Marmol Radziner appointed the stunning interior finishes with custom details throughout. Kitchens feature an integrated Gaggenau appliance package, custom white oak cabinetry, and white Princess Quartzite countertops. Master suites boast oversized bathrooms adorned in Alabastrino Rustico travertine.

Remaining for-sale residences include the final opportunity to own outdoor space at Quay Tower: a Penthouse duplex asking $7,995,000 designed in collaboration with REAL SIMPLE and available fully-furnished. Penthouse 1C is a 2,789 square-foot residence with an outdoor gas fireplace and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a gas line BBQ grill. Owners will enjoy 629 square feet of private outdoor space for entertaining that overlooks New York City. Additional features of the home include an oversized gallery and multiple entertaining spaces, an eat-in kitchen, a full-size vented Whirlpool washer/dryer, pre-wiring for motorized shades, multi-zone heating and cooling, and UV-insulated floor-to-ceiling windows with triple exposures.

Current availability at Quay Tower includes:

Quay Tower’s robust amenity collection offers elevated experiences through one-of-a-kind partnerships with Brooklyn institutions. Residents have access to classes and private training with world champion boxer and Gleason’s trainer Yuri Foreman.

There are two expansive rooftop spaces for dining, entertaining, and lounging that showcase panoramic, front-row views of the Manhattan skyline, downtown Brooklyn, and the New York Harbor. Additional amenities include a children’s playroom and music practice room, created and serviced in partnership with Brooklyn Music School. Owners have preferred access to the exclusive Yacht Service at One 15 Brooklyn Marina. Nearby transportation includes the high-speed ferry and immediate access to the BQE.
