NY Mets Home Opener Postponed Until Friday

FLUSHING, NY – The New York Mets have announced that Thursday’s scheduled Opening Day game against the Milwaukee Brewers has been postponed due to forecasted rain. It will be rescheduled for Friday, March 29 at 1:40 p.m. Gates will open at 11:40 a.m. and parking lots will open at 10:40 a.m.

Fans holding paid tickets for the game originally scheduled to be played at 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, may use them for the rescheduled game on Friday, March 29 at 1:40 p.m.

Season Ticket Members may exchange their Opening Day tickets for a 2024 regular season game at Citi Field up until 10:30 a.m. on March 29. Following the conclusion of Friday’s game, a digital voucher will be loaded into each attending patron’s My Mets Tickets account (accessed by clicking the Vouchers tab) for any unused tickets. The digital voucher will be accessible beginning on Saturday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m. Fans may exchange the voucher for a ticket comparable in price and location to another Mets 2024 regular season home game at Citi Field (excluding the June 25-26 Subway Series vs the Yankees), subject to availability.

Complimentary tickets to Thursday, March 28 and those marked “NO RAINCHECK” have no value and do not constitute a rain check. However, these tickets can be utilized to attend Friday’s rescheduled game.

Prepaid parking will be valid for admission for Friday’s rescheduled game. Ticket holders for the Thursday, March 28 game with a prepaid parking pass who do not attend Friday’s makeup game will automatically receive a voucher redeemable for a new prepaid parking pass in their My Mets Tickets account.
