NYU Langone Opens New Ambulatory Care Center Near Penn Station

NYU Langone Health has opened an 18,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art medical facility at 360 West 31st Street, directly across the street from Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station in midtown Manhattan. NYU Langone Medical Associates—Penn District will ensure ease of access to a No. 1 physician practice network for people in the Hudson Yards residential area and commuters to the city.

“Penn District further expands access to NYU Langone Health’s award-winning and consistently high standard of care, with multiple services in a new location on the west side of Manhattan,” said Andrew W. Brotman, MD, executive vice president and vice dean for clinical affairs and strategy, chief clinical officer, at NYU Langone. “NYU Langone Medical Associates—Penn District will make receiving care even more convenient for countless patients who are also commuters on the Long Island Rail Road or New Jersey Transit.”

Located on the third floor of a historic building that once housed the offices of Sears, Roebuck and Co., the new facility offers 15 providers in internal medicine and family medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, orthopedic surgery, podiatry, spine surgery, sports medicine, and urology, as well as 25 exam rooms, 3 dedicated procedure rooms, and imaging services.

“We’ve taken a respectful and innovative design approach with this new space, as we do with all of our new facilities, incorporating an abundance of natural light and prioritizing the use of sustainable materials in furnishings throughout,” said Vicki Match Suna, AIA, executive vice president and vice dean for real estate development and facilities. “Our objective is to create environments that are focused on health and wellness and are warm, inviting, and comfortable for patients and staff.”

NYU Langone has 6 inpatient locations and 300 outpatient sites across the New York metropolitan area and in Florida.
