Northwell Health Physician Partners celebrated the opening of its newest multi-specialty practice in Jackson Heights last month. The 19,000-square-foot facility, located on the second floor at 82-21 Baxter Ave., marks a significant expansion of Northwell’s health care services in Queens.

The state-of-the-art health care center features 25 exam rooms, five testing rooms, and a Core Lab on site, all equipped with the latest in advanced medical technology. The practice offers a range of services:
- Primary care
- Cardiology
- Obstetrics and gynecology
- Breast surgery
- General surgery
- Thoracic surgery
- Pediatric cardiology
- Pediatric gastroenterology
“This new practice represents our commitment to bringing comprehensive health care directly to the communities we serve,” said Jon Sendach, executive vice president and central market president of Northwell Health. “By bringing this facility to Jackson Heights, we’re making it easier for residents to access high-quality medical care and specialized services close to home, while also providing seamless connections to our network of advanced medical centers across the region.”
Through ongoing recruitment efforts, the practice plans to expand its services by adding specialists in nephrology, pulmonology, colorectal surgery, orthopedics and additional pediatric services.
“Our Jackson Heights location is designed to grow alongside the community’s health care needs,” said David Brody, senior vice president of ambulatory services for the central market. “By offering multiple specialties and an on-site Core Lab under one roof, we’re creating a more convenient, efficient health care experience where patients can receive coordinated care in a single location.”
“This new facility enables our physicians to deliver comprehensive care in a collaborative environment,” added Adam Auerbach, MD, senior vice president and market physician executive for the central market. “For example, if a patient comes to see a cardiologist, they have immediate access to an entire team of specialists who can consult on their care. This depth of clinical talent in one location, combined with the integration of multiple specialties under one roof, will significantly enhance the patient experience and lead to better health outcomes.”
